1. Understand the Type of Fish Finder First, familiarize yourself with the type of fish finder you are using. Common types include sonar fish finders and visual fish finders. Sonar fish finders detect underwater objects by emitting sound waves and receiving their echoes, while visual fish finders capture underwater images through a camera.

2. Power On Turn on the power: Press the power button on the fish finder to start the device.

3. Connect and Set Up

·  Wireless Connection: For fish finders that support wireless connections, ensure your phone is connected to the fish finder's Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal and install the corresponding app.

·  Wired Connection: For devices connected via a data cable, ensure the cable is intact and connect the fish finder to the display according to the user manual.

·  Adjust Settings: Adjust the fish finder's settings, such as the depth range and sensitivity, to achieve the best detection results.

4. Observe the Display

·  View Images or Data:

Sonar Fish Finder: If fish are detected, they will appear as icons on the screen. You can set the display to show large, medium, or small fish, and some fish finders may also display the bottom contour.

Visual Fish Finder: The screen will display a live video stream of the underwater environment, allowing you to directly observe fish, underwater terrain, and more.

·  Read Information:

Pay attention to auxiliary information such as depth and water temperature displayed on the screen, as these can help you better understand the underwater environment.

For sonar fish finders, you may need to refer to the user manual's image explanations to identify different fish signals.

By following these steps, users can effectively read the information provided by the fish finder and use it to guide their fishing activities.
